As the helicopter soared over vast expanse of the Okavango delta,I peered through my camera lens, scanning the flood plains below for any sign of wildlife.Suddenly,my keen eye caught a sight of a magnificent sight-a large herd of elephants grazing peacefully in the distance.

Excitedly I directed the pilot to circle around for a better scene before him.The elephants numbering in the dozens, were scattered across the lush green plains, their massive grey bodies blending almost seamlessly into the surrounding vegetation.Some of the elephants were busy tearing up mouthfuls of grass with their trunks, while others were playfully splashing in the nearby water channels.A few younger elephants were even engaged in a lively game of chase, their playful trumpeting echoing across the plains and filling the air with a sense of joy and wonder.

I snapped picture after picture, awed by the majesty of the gentle giants and stunning natural landscape that surrounded them.As the helicopter began to bank and turn away,I felt a sense of deep gratitude for the opportunity to witness such a display of nature’s beauty and I knew that the memory of the aerial photograph would stay with me for a lifetime.
